LEGISLATIVE MESSAGE TO MEMBERS FROM PRESIDENT ZULAUF:
Greetings, WAMA Members:
The 2010 Washington State legislative session was a very active one for WAMA. Excise
taxes and land use were the predominant issues and we expect both of these topics to be
raised again in the 2011 session.
One of the goals of the WAMA board of directors is to become more proactive on
legislative issues and your input is critical to implementing that goal. We would like to
hear from you on topics of concern that we should be prepared to address with our
legislators between now and the 2011 session.
Please forward to the chair of our legislative committee, Robb Parish
(robb.parish@pullman-wa.gov) your ideas and thoughts. We need to be active
throughout the remainder of 2010 in order to have an effective voice on issues important
to airports.
