Manages the Association’s Financial Assistance program, including scholarships, internships, and grants for professional development and community education. Establishes objective standards by which students can be evaluated to receive various academic scholarships offered from time to time by the Association. Makes recommendations to the Board regarding the offering of such scholarships. The Committee works with academic institutions to recruit applicants. Evaluates and recommends grant applicants to the Membership through the Board of Directors for receipt of financial aid in the form of a scholarship, internship or professional development grant.
