Assistant Fire Chief

Paine Field Airport

Compensation: $121,758 - $155,398

Paine Field Airport is located in the Everett – Mukilteo area of southern Snohomish County, Washington, approximately 30 miles north of downtown Seattle. Seattle Paine Field International Airport is owned and operated by Snohomish County and functions as a county department. The Paine Field Airport Fire Department provides continuous Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting, structural fire suppression, emergency medical response, hazardous materials response, water rescue, fire prevention, inspections, and community safety services. Reporting to the Airport Fire Chief, the Assistant Fire Chief serves as the department's second-in-command and acts for the Chief when delegated or during the Chief's absence.

Education & Experience: A bachelor’s degree in Fire Science, Emergency Services Management, Public Administration, or a closely related field is required, together with IFSAC, Pro Board, or Department of Defense equivalent certification as a Fire Officer III and at least two years of experience serving as a chief officer in a FAR Part 139 Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting and structural fire department. An equivalent combination of education, training, certification, and progressively responsible experience that provides the required knowledge and abilities may be considered. Marketing & Communications Specialist

Spokane Airports seeks a full-time Marketing & Communications Specialist to join our team. This position supports the planning and implementation of the marketing, communication, and air service development functions for Spokane International Airport, Felts Field, the Airport Business Park, and the Rail-Truck Transload Center. This role focuses on digital content creation, visual storytelling, event coordination, and brand promotion and engagement. Minimum requirements include a bachelor’s degree and two to five years of related experience. A combination of education and experience may be considered in meeting the requirements of this position. Current wage is $28.77 - $37.95/hour, depending on qualifications. Police Chief

Spokane Airports is hiring a Police Chief dedicated to ensuring public safety and providing exceptional customer service to the traveling public and Airport community. This position oversees and directs the Airport’s Police Department, Dispatch Center, and Credentialing Office. The Chief is responsible for the enforcement of laws and security regulations, traffic operations, and airport security compliance and support. Minimum qualifications include an active Washington State Peace Officer certification or ability to obtain within six months of hire, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and three years of law enforcement management experience. A combination of education and experience may be considered in meeting the requirements of this position.

Current wage is $101,260.70 - $143,490.31 annually, depending on qualifications. Current benefits include medical, dental, life and disability insurance, LEOFF retirement as well as an employee assistance program and employee wellness program. Security Coordinator

Full Time Non-Exempt Position   $33.65-$38.46 per hour (totaling $70,000-$80,000 on an annual basis)

The Regional Port Security Coordinator is responsible for all security functions at Regional Port Properties, including Pangborn Memorial Airport. This position also serves as the Airport Security Coordinator, Airport related Cybersecurity Coordinator, Law Enforcement Liaison, and Emergency Management Coordinator for the Regional Port. This position manages all third-party security contracts to ensure the safety and security of all Port properties. This position is not an enforcement specific role and does not require a law enforcement commission.

This position is eligible for participation in the Washington State Public Employees’ Retirement System (PERS).

Aviation Engineer / Project Manager

Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, is seeking an Aviation Engineer / Project Manager to join our Portland (OR) Aviation team.
 
Responsibilities include:

  • Serving as the project manager for aviation projects
  • Leading and performing aviation civil engineering tasks
  • Preparing reports, budgets, cost estimates, specifications, plans, schedules, studies, and permits
  • Leading proactive client interactions and communications with regards to FAA programming, and state and government agencies
  • Performing QA/QC tasks
  • Supporting onsite during construction as the Engineer of Record, providing construction management/construction administration management to resident engineering teams.
  • Travel within the FAA Seattle ADO Region is required

 
The Successful Candidate Must Have

  • A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field from an accredited college or university AND at least eight (8) years of relevant experience
  • PE required

 
Salary Range: $146,000 to $166,000 - Actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as: experience, skill set or location.
