Roles and Responsibilities: To manage day-to-day activities of Pearson Field, the City’s general aviation municipal airport and part of the Vancouver National Historic Reserve, a federally designated national historic site.  Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the airport and its facilities. Prepare and execute annual budgets. Direct and perform maintenance activities. Oversee long-term airport planning and develop economic opportunities associated with the airport. Provide staff support to the Aviation Advisory Committee; and coordinate airport operations with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Washington State Department of Transportation Aviation Division, and other federal and local agencies. Roles and Responsibilties
Spokane Airports Planning & Development Department seeks to add a full-time staff member to their team. The position will primarily be involved in the management of multiple complex airside and landside facilities improvement projects including planning, environmental, design, construction, and other public works. This job opening may be filled by a Project Manager ($87,256 to $123,645/yr) or a Senior Project Manager ($95,981 to $136,009/yr) depending on qualifications. Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in planning, architecture, engineering, construction, or related field, a valid driver’s license free of serious or frequent traffic violations, and design and construction management and budgeting experience. The Project Manager position requires five (5) years of relevant experience while the Senior Project Manager requires twelve (12) years of relevant experience. King County International Airport/Boeing Field (KCIA) is searching for an innovative and great people leader to serve as Managing Engineer. Reporting to the Airport Director, this position manages the planning and delivery of the Airport Capital Improvement Program and oversees the Engineering and Planning Services of the Airport. The work includes day-to-day administrative functions, personnel development, and technical reviews associated with the Airport CIP project management. Presentations to stakeholders including tenants, community representatives, Airport Roundtable, the public, and elected officials is a requirement of this position.
